Research Interests:
Bill Lancaster’s media background spans more than 20 years
as a news and entertainment television producer, newspaper reporter and columnist, magazine writer, political campaign manager and public relations consultant.
His work has appeared on NBC, CNBC, CBS, MTV, VH1, Bloomberg Business News, USA Network, The Travel Channel and The Food Network, among other broadcast and cable venues.
Lancaster’s major area of research considers the impact of digital information sources on mainstream media. Broadcast Management; Media, Culture & Society; Inside the Media and production classes are some of the courses he teaches.
In addition to Northeastern University, Lancaster teaches in the graduate program at the Tufts College of Medicine.
