Industry Advisory Board

The Industry Advisory Board is a consultative body that connects the Department to the various communication-related industries and organizations.

It is composed of industry representatives, our coop faculty, the Chair of the Department, a student representative and a faculty representative.

The IAB meets twice annually to discuss the changing professional world and how it might impact the way the department teaches and deals with media and communication.

The IAB mandate is the following:

1. To offer a point of exchange between industry and the Department
2. To work on matching needs between industry and the Department
3. To publicize the activities and achievements of the Department
4. To suggest developments in the curriculum that would be of interest to the various communication industries
