Advising @ NEU
There are a number of advisors you can rely on, both within the College of Arts and Sciences and within the Communication Studies department.
College of Arts and Sciences
Katie Cameron, Academic Advisor (LAST NAMES A - K)
Meaghan Sinclair, Academic Advisor (LAST NAMES L - Z)
Your academic advisor can help answer your questions about the college core curriculum and graduation requirements. He or she is also available to assist with scheduling and registration problems, dropping or withdrawing from a class, taking a leave for personal or medical reasons, among other things.

Faculty Advisors
Each student is assigned an individual Faculty Advisor upon entering the major. We suggest speaking with your Faculty Advisor to discuss questions about the major, such as choosing a concentration, gaining permission to take advisor-approved courses, planning for graduate school or other career-related questions.
Faculty Advisors know most about the content of specific courses and the various fields for which your major prepares you. Faculty advisors are assigned alphabetically (see below).
